And so is the brain.” She added that the program has helped her grow in “organization, teamwork and coordination with a lot of different groups,” highlighting the real‑world skills gained beyond the classroom.

Lauren Feil, dean of admissions at OSSM, explained that the school looks for students who are “curious and seeking some sort of academic challenge.” Applicants must submit essays, recommendation letters, ACT scores and other supporting materials. The deadline for enrollment runs through March.
