Orlando nonprofit Pathlight HOME is seeking donations to help the homeless community during the dangerous heat wave in Central Florida. The organization’s outreach teams are delivering essential items to those in need.
Donations Needed
Items such as new plastic water bottles, bug spray, sunscreen, rain ponchos, flip-flops, cooling towels, reusable water bottles, detergent, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, hats, and umbrellas can be donated in person at Maxwell Terrace Apartments in Orlando or online through the organization’s Amazon Needs List.
Danny Arroyo, chief operating officer at Pathlight HOME, emphasized the importance of providing relief and shelter to those without stable housing during this time of year.
