Billowing black smoke prompted firefighters to respond to Integris Baptist Hospital Monday morning in northwest Oklahoma City. The black smoke was seen at the hospital on Northwest Expressway near Lake Hefner Parkway.
Investigation Reveals Routine Generator Test
Integris Hospital officials told KOCO 5 that the smoke came from a routine and planned generator test that produced exterior smoke. An Oklahoma City Fire Department crew was driving by the hospital, saw the smoke, and called it in to be investigated as a precaution.
