Oklahoma City Public Schools are launching two new facilities this school year, a bilingual elementary school and a high school career center with programs in healthcare, aviation, and teaching.
New Facilities
The College and Career Center will allow students to earn associate degrees and work toward certifications in healthcare, aviation, and teaching. The aviation lab includes flight simulators, while the healthcare facilities feature modern long-term care setups to prepare students for life after high school.
In south Oklahoma City, Adelaide Lee Elementary School will open as a dual-language school, where pre-K and kindergarten students will learn both Spanish and English. The school will eventually expand to fourth grade.
