Tycen Proper, a 19-year-old Ohio man, is scheduled to appear in court in Columbus for a preliminary hearing on Monday. He faces several federal charges, including conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States and attempted murder, for his alleged role in a plot to attack a UFC event at the White House.
According to investigators, Proper’s mother contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly expressed a desire to take out the ‘evil government.’ Federal investigators say Proper spent $3,000 on guns and ammunition and believe he and at least four others were targeting President Trump, Vice President Vance, and other officials.
