A baby boom is underway at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, where 17 nurses in the labor and delivery unit are expecting babies. This beats the hospital’s previous record of 11 nurses expecting at the same time in 2019.
The nurses, who range from 12 to 35 weeks pregnant, recently gathered for a photo to celebrate their pregnancies and the bond they share as colleagues and soon-to-be mothers. Fifteen of the 17 nurses were included in the photo, with two unavailable at the time.
A Time of Celebration
This baby boom is a joyous occasion for the hospital and the nurses, who are preparing to welcome their new additions. The nurses’ pregnancies are a testament to the miracle of life and the importance of family and faith in our communities.
