The non-profit theater group TDF is running the lottery, which also operates the TKTS booths. Every student who enters the lottery will receive a free, two-month TDF membership for discounted tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, as well as music, museums, and dance performances.
Mayor Mamdani stated, ‘In a city overflowing with extraordinary art and culture, every young person should have the opportunity to experience those moments, regardless of what’s in their bank account.’ The lottery website is open until August 17, and the drawing for tickets will be held on September 1.
