Laundry Love Fort Worth, a nonprofit providing free laundry services, is set to open its third location in Fort Worth’s Northside. The new location, at 2100 Ephriham Ave., will offer free laundry services, including detergent, bleach, and fabric softener, to those in need.

Expanding Services to the Northside

Tonya Wilson-Brown, executive director of Laundry Love, said the nonprofit identified a need in the Northside area and is excited to expand its services to this community. The move was made possible by a $10,000 grant from the United Way of Tarrant County and a $7,500 grant from the Rotary Club of Fort Worth.

Laundry Love will customize its services at the Northside location to better serve Spanish-speaking clients, providing bilingual brochures, bringing in bilingual volunteers, and collaborating with local community organizations and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The first event at the new location is scheduled for July 21, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Registration will be available online at a later date.
