Conspiracies surrounding the death of Nolan Wells have led to threats against those he was with on the day of his death, according to attorneys. Wells, who was with a group of friends on Horn Island in Mississippi, never made it home after the group left the island.

Investigation and Threats

Attorneys representing Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour say their clients have been subjected to death threats and defamation despite cooperating with investigators. The attorneys claim that the allegations against their clients have made it difficult for them to grieve the loss of their friend.

The group of friends had arrived on the island around 11 am and left at 4:30 pm. The last time Warren Hudson saw Wells was around 3 pm. After the group left, Wells’ body was discovered along the shoreline of the barrier island.

Response to Allegations

Attorney Tyler Cox rejected claims that his clients were motivated to treat Wells differently because of his race. Cox stated that the young men regret going out to the island that day and have empathy and sympathy for Wells’ family.

Edward Paltzik, a defamation attorney, said that edited audio of the emergency tow call made by the group has been circulating and is distracting from the facts of the case. Paltzik plans to pursue all legal claims against those who have defamed his clients.
