New Mexico’s Department of Transportation has crews working to temporarily patch N.M. 11 between Deming and the U.S.-Mexico border.
Repairs will help improve driving conditions and keep motorists safe during the hot summer months and as monsoon season picks up.
Again, these repairs are only short-term fixes until the department launches its full-depth roadway reclamation project in the fall.
Crews ask drivers to slow down, stay alert, and watch for maintenance crews and equipment when traveling through the work area.
