A motorcyclist from Haverhill, Massachusetts, suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Londonderry, New Hampshire. State police said Thursday that troopers responded shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday to Interstate 93, where a motorcycle had crashed near Exit 4 on the southbound side of the highway.
The operator, a 61-year-old man, veered into the median. The bike rolled and he was thrown from it. The man was flown to a Massachusetts hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said he was wearing a helmet at the time.
The highway’s northbound lanes were closed for about 35 minutes after the crash, police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
