A Passion for Matcha
Chen’s love for matcha began when she was a teenager growing up in China. She would often get boba tea after school, and her family would gather around their tea table to enjoy traditional tea together.
After traveling to Japan and Guangzhou, China, to learn about matcha, Chen and her husband, Norman, opened BLISS last October. The shop offers a variety of matcha drinks, including the popular banana pudding matcha latte.

The banana pudding matcha latte is made with ceremonial-grade Uji matcha powder, which is sourced from a region in Kyoto, Japan. The drink is prepared by heating water to the perfect temperature, then whisking it with the matcha powder and mixing it with milk and banana pudding.
