A new app called Long Shout is helping people communicate in loud or quiet places. The app, created by independent game designer Greg Wohlwend, allows users to type a message that is then displayed on the screen in large, bold letters.
How it Works
The app is simple to use. Just type what you want to say, and the message will fill the entire screen. This can be especially helpful in situations where yelling or whispering is not practical, such as at a concert or when someone is sleeping. The app also allows users to customize the font and colors, and if you rotate your phone into landscape mode, the message becomes a scrolling marquee that is even easier to read from a distance.
One reviewer noted that the app even helped them let another driver know a brake light was out without having to roll down a window or shout through traffic. Long Shout is completely free, contains no ads, and doesn’t require any in-app purchases.
