A local veteran, Jim Serger, has completed a cross-country bike ride from California to New York City, arriving at Ground Zero to honor the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks.
The journey raised almost $15,000, with all proceeds benefiting veterans and first responders through the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
