National Vision Holdings Inc. (EYE) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $12.4 million. The company, based in Duluth, Georgia, said it had profit of 15 cents per share.
Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 25 cents per share. The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 17 cents per share.
National Vision posted revenue of $498.8 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $492.1 million.
National Vision expects full-year earnings in the range of 94 cents to $1.09 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.04 billion to $2.08 billion.
