The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper, Wyoming, is scheduled to reopen to the public on July 28 following a 45-day closure for essential facility work, the Bureau of Land Management announced.
Regular Operating Hours to Resume
Upon its reopening, the center will resume its regular operating hours of 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The Interpretive Center Manager, Jessie Horn, expressed excitement about welcoming visitors back and sharing the stories of the National Historic Trails.
During the closure, the Fort Caspar Museum served as the temporary host of the center’s summer programming, including speaker series and historical reenactments. The events currently scheduled to take place at the Fort Caspar Museum will remain at that location.
