A recent poll found that the majority of respondents consider the national debt to be a huge problem. Out of 303 total votes, 243 people believed the debt to be a huge problem, while 42 thought it was moderately big, and 13 saw it as not a problem at all.
Senior Citizen Service District Proposal
A new proposal to establish a Sheridan County Senior Citizen Service District with a maximum property tax levy of two mills is currently up for vote. This would translate to $1 in property tax for every $1,000 of assessed value.
