Police Respond to Celebrity’s Home

Police in Florida responded to the home of celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton after he appeared to harm himself on a TikTok livestream. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls regarding the incident and quickly located Hilton’s residence, where they spoke with family members and confirmed he was alone inside.

Incident Details

The sheriff’s office worked to de-escalate the situation, and Hilton was safely recovered and transported to a local hospital for medical attention. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and licensed mental health professionals are providing support and resources to Hilton’s family.

Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr., has been open about his personal struggles in the past. He rose to prominence after launching his gossip blog and has since become a well-known TV personality.
