Montana Ave Reopened After Flooding

Officials with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced that all lanes on Montana West at Justice/Tierra Este Rd are now open.

This comes after the road was closed by officials overnight due to rainfall which caused flooding on the roadway. Several vehicles had attempted to go through the flooded area but ended up getting stranded in the water.

The stalled vehicles were removed from the water and the road remained closed Saturday night into Sunday morning as crews worked to reduce the water from the area.
