A three-day community mobile health clinic in Boyle Heights has opened to provide services in an area affected by a recent fire at a cold food storage warehouse.
The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday at Ruben Salazar Park, located at 3864 Whittier Boulevard. The clinics are a city partnership with St. John’s Community Health, AltaMed, and Clínica Romero. No appointments are necessary.
A centralized community health center has also been opened to provide residents and businesses in Boyle Heights with items like air purifiers, food kits, financial assistance, new job assistance, health services, and access to city and county programs.
