The Kirby family of Needham, Massachusetts, was frantically searching for their missing cat, Fluffy, for 30 hours. Contractors had been working on the bathroom, and the family suspected that Fluffy might have slipped out of the house. However, after an extensive search, including the help of a pet retrieval specialist, Fluffy was found in a surprising location – under the bathtub.
A Relieved Family
Melissa Kirby heard a faint meowing sound coming from upstairs and discovered Fluffy’s paw sticking out from under the tub. The family immediately called a plumber, and Fluffy was rescued within the hour, unharmed and seemingly unbothered by the ordeal. The Kirbys have since fitted Fluffy with an AirTag tracking device to prevent any future disappearances.
