Two people were arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of a 15-year-old in Boston’s Allston neighborhood. The shooting occurred on June 12 on Pomeroy Street. The victim, later identified as Phillip Franco of Brighton, was taken to an area hospital, where he died on June 17.
Arrests Made
Boston police said officers with the department’s fugitive unit, alongside the U.S. Marshal Service, arrested 26-year-old Armani Collazos around 6 a.m. on North Beacon Street. He was wanted on a warrant for murder, four counts of assault to murder by means of a firearm, attempted assault and battery with a firearm, and other firearms charges.
Around 8:45 a.m., police arrested 22-year-old Miranda Bodden on Everett Street in Allston. She is charged with five counts of accessory after the fact. Both Collazos and Bodden pleaded not guilty when they were arraigned.
