A woman was assaulted by a man in Miami Springs, according to Miami Springs Police. The incident occurred on Thursday morning.
Surveillance video captured the moment when the woman got out of a car and was assaulted by the man. The man then forced her back into the car and drove to a nearby hotel.
The woman was able to escape, and officers responded after she accidentally triggered an emergency call with her phone. Five hours later, police arrested 31-year-old Christian Lopez, who was out on felony bond.
Lopez faces several new charges, including battery and kidnapping.
