An MBTA bus crashed into a tree and a fence in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood on Thursday morning, injuring one passenger. The bus was traveling on Cummins Highway near Harvard Street around 6 a.m. when it swerved to avoid another vehicle and made contact with a tree and a fence, damaging the front of the bus.
One passenger on the bus was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to MBTA Transit Police. The bus has since been removed from the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.
