Massachusetts Murder Case Solved

A murdered teenager, known as ‘Chelsea Jane Doe’ for over two decades, has been identified as 16-year-old Tiffany Bradley of Allentown, Pennsylvania. Bradley suffered a tragic fate, being trafficked across state lines before being killed. Her body was decapitated, dismembered, and eventually dumped in the back of a parking lot on Crest Avenue in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Breakthrough in the Case

Authorities noted that her killer is already behind bars, but the true identity of the young victim remained unknown for 26 years. The FBI’s Boston Cold Case Team and local authorities announced a major breakthrough in the gruesome 2000 murder case, officially identifying the victim as Tiffany Bradley.

Special Agent in Charge Ted Docks joined the Massachusetts State Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office at a news conference to explain how they finally cracked the case. According to the FBI, investigators relied on investigative genetic genealogy, combining traditional police work with advanced DNA analysis and family tree research to figure out exactly who she was, where she came from, and who might still be looking for her.

The discovery has finally brought some closure to Bradley’s relatives. Tiffany’s cousin, Shakirah Wiggins, spoke out about the long-awaited news, saying, ‘It is totally amazing that after 26 years people cared enough to give her a name and return her to our family. The wheels of justice run slowly, but surely.’
