A married police officer in Nashville has resigned from the Metro Nashville Police Department after an on-duty affair with another officer was exposed. The officer, Lisa Vidrios, admitted to serious departmental violations, including conduct unbecoming an officer.
Investigation and Resignation
According to an investigative summary from the Office of Professional Accountability, a complaint was submitted against Vidrios and an unnamed 18-year veteran officer in May 2025. The two had sex on duty in a MNPD vehicle and in the middle school where Vidrios was a school resource officer. Vidrios’ phone contained video of the two having sex in her school resource officer’s office, and staff could be heard talking outside the door. Vidrios admitted that kids were inside the building during this time.
Vidrios agreed to a settlement for the violations of MNPD policy and served a 30-day suspension before resigning from the force. The 18-year veteran officer was not interviewed due to an approved injury-on-duty pension.
