Corven Jones, a Manitowoc man, pleaded no contest to one count of conspiracy to deliver amphetamine. He was charged in December after a traffic stop in which investigators found more than 24 pounds of meth.
Jones will be sentenced on September 25, with prosecutors recommending a five-year prison term. His case is part of a larger Virginia-to-Wisconsin drug ring investigation.
Co-defendants Karonn Hamilton and Andre Allen, along with another suspect, Anhaur Garcia-Tarabay, are being prosecuted in federal court. Hamilton will be sentenced on August 18, Allen on August 25, and Garcia-Tarabay has a hearing set for September 9.
