A magnitude-7.4 earthquake struck off the Pacific coast of southern Mexico early Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake was centered west-southwest of Puerto Madero, near the Mexico-Guatemala border off the coast of Chiapas.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage following the quake.
