Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is set to welcome a new luxury private terminal, catering to high-end travelers just in time for the FIFA World Cup matches in North Texas. The terminal, operated by Los Angeles-based company PS, will open on June 1, offering a unique airport experience that bypasses the traditional hustle and bustle of main terminals.
Exclusive Services for Travelers
The 12,200-square-foot facility, located next to DFW’s corporate aviation area, allows commercial airline passengers to skip regular security lines through dedicated screening and private transportation services. This development is particularly timely as North Texas prepares to host nine World Cup matches, drawing significant international attention and visitors.
PS offers two main experiences at the terminal: The Salon, a shared social lounge with a 40-foot bar inspired by Southern bars, and private suites that provide a personal, home-like atmosphere. Amenities include chef-prepared meals, spa services, luggage assistance, and private TSA screening. Travelers will also enjoy BMW chauffeur transportation across the airfield directly to their aircraft.
Local Design and Global Expansion
The terminal’s interior, designed by Dallas designer Jean Liu, incorporates Western landscape and cowboy culture themes, emphasizing Southern hospitality. A mural by Dallas artist Amy Berlin, in collaboration with Los Angeles artist Candice Kaye, further enhances the local flavor with its blend of Dallas-inspired textures and global travel themes.
PS CEO Amina Belouizdad Porter highlighted the company’s expansion strategy, aiming to reimagine the airport experience by integrating the privacy and comfort of a five-star hotel into travel. With existing terminals in Los Angeles and Atlanta, PS plans to expand to Miami and Paris, targeting major U.S. airports by 2030.
Pricing for access to The Salon starts at $1,295 per person, while private suites are available for $4,950 for up to four travelers. The PS Direct service, offering door-to-door transportation, will be introduced later this year at $1,650 per person.
