A new Love’s Travel Stop housing a Hardee’s restaurant is currently under construction just north of Casper, Wyoming, and is expected to open this fall. The 11,000 square foot truck stop, gas station, and convenience store will be located just off Interstate 25 near Bar Nunn.
Facility Details
The new facility will be large enough to accommodate professional drivers, casual customers, and RVers, offering RV hookups and showers along with large bathrooms and a variety of food and snack options. The location is expected to employ between 40 to 50 people.
When the location opens, Love’s will donate $5,000 to a local nonprofit and have an annual donation budget moving forward. The location will also donate $5,000 to the Children’s Miracle Network hospital that serves the area.
The new Hardee’s will mark the return of the fast food burger chain to Casper, which saw both of its locations close without warning in July 2023, shortly after its franchisee went bankrupt.
