Louisville Metro Police reported a chaotic night in the Highlands area, with two people shot and 15 arrested, including four juveniles, after multiple fights broke out near Atomic and The Hub.
According to police, the first shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bardstown Road, where a man in his late 20s was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
A second shooting was reported around 3:45 a.m. outside a bar in the 1100 block of Bardstown Road, where another man in his late 20s was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was also taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police said both shootings stemmed from fights in the area and that none of the people arrested are suspects in either shooting. The police are asking anyone with information to call their anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673).
