Bever Park itself has been a cornerstone of Cedar Rapids recreation since the early twentieth century, and the rose garden sits at its heart like a well-kept secret that only locals seem to know. More than a thousand rose bushes — spanning hybrid teas, grandifloras, miniatures, and climbing varieties — are arranged in formal beds that feel both structured and wildly alive. In peak bloom, typically mid-June through early July, the color is almost absurd in the best possible way: deep crimson next to coral next to pale champagne, all competing for your attention.
