Gabby Penrose led the Colonials with 17 kills, 10 digs and two aces, while the team tallied 15 assists, 16 digs and seven aces from Riylee Abel and nine kills from Paityn Goletz.

In boys soccer, Belle Vernon’s Leopards overwhelmed Ligonier Valley 10-1, featuring a hat trick from Jesse Sobczak and three goals from Gavin Metzger. Mount Pleasant’s Vikings blanked Southmoreland 4-0, while Beth‑Center’s Bulldogs defeated California 16-2 with Parker Amos scoring eight goals. The Rams beat the Mustangs 3-2 in a close Section 2‑3A contest.
Girls soccer and tennis
Girls soccer saw Belle Vernon’s Lady Leopards dominate Uniontown 8-0, highlighted by a hat trick from Deaulla Lightfoot.
