Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) conducted increased patrols in popular entertainment districts around the city, including the Highlands, over the weekend. The patrols resulted in four arrests, three citations, and the seizure of four illegal firearms.

According to LMPD, officers focused on keeping sidewalks and parking lots accessible and clear, while also addressing issues such as public drinking, disorderly conduct, street racing, marijuana offenses, and illegal firearm possession.
The increased presence was aimed at keeping everyone safe in the area. LMPD did not release the names of those arrested or the charges they face.
