This place is very important for us,” he told ABC‑7. He recalled playing basketball, foosball and pool at the club as a child, adding, “I was a kid raised in El Segundo Barrio, born and raised here, and I used to come here when I was, like, 9 or 10 years old. It was a very great time for me.”
