Lake Mary Softball Team Wins State

The Lake Mary Little League 12U girls’ softball team is preparing to represent Florida in the 2026 Little League Softball Southeast Regional Tournament in Warner Robins, Georgia, after winning the state championship.

State Champions

The team made history by securing the 2026 Florida State Championship on Sunday, June 28, in Port St. Lucie. This victory earned them the title of top Florida state champions in girls’ softball and the opportunity to compete for a chance to represent the Southeast in the Little League Softball World Series.

The regional tournament will take place at the Little League Southeast Park, starting at 10 a.m. on July 17. The Lake Mary team is scheduled to play their first game at 1 p.m.

The girls are currently practicing until 6:15 p.m. today. Following practice, the community will gather for a send-off celebration at 6:30 p.m. in the circle. The team is set to leave for Georgia tomorrow morning.
