A man charged in the death of a Louisville Metro Department of Corrections officer has taken a plea deal. Anthony Trabue was one of three people charged in Michael Wehdah’s death in February 2025.
Plea Details
On Monday, Trabue took an Alford plea for manslaughter (complicity) and criminal facilitation to robbery. This means Trabue did not admit guilt but acknowledges the prosecution had enough evidence to convict him.
The Commonwealth is recommending a 7.5-year sentence for Trabue. He is set to be formally sentenced on August 26.
The two others charged in the case are Brian Ramsey and Kristy Brumley. They are both charged with murder (complicity).
