Five days later, on August 17, investigators were alerted to a video Minnix posted to a social‑media platform. In the recording, he can be seen holding a weapon and threatening a student involved in the earlier fight. Sheriff Rick Ramsay noted that the weapon shown in the video did not match the pellet guns recovered from Minnix’s residence, suggesting a different type of firearm may have been used.
