The Kewaunee County Farm Technology Days Executive Committee has announced its scholarship recipients. The scholarships are awarded to students beyond the first half of post-secondary education, in their 3rd or 4th year of college, the second year of a two-year program, or in the second half of a post-secondary program.
Eligibility and Requirements
Students needed to meet specific requirements to apply, including having graduated from high schools in Kewaunee County, such as Algoma, Denmark, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Mishicot, and Southern Door. They also needed to have at least a 2.5 GPA and be currently enrolled in a post-secondary education school or technical study. Additionally, they or someone from their immediate family had to have been involved in Kewaunee County Farm Technology Days 2017 as a sponsor, volunteer, or vendor.
Those awarded include: Kewaunee – Lisa Reinke, attending Northcentral Technical College majoring in Dental Hygiene; Luxemburg-Casco – Savannah Bailey, attending UW-River Falls majoring in Agricultural Education, Emma Delebreau, attending UW-Platteville majoring in Biology, Jacob Treml, attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College majoring in Diesel Mechanic, Anna Pravechek, attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College majoring in Radiology, and Katie Ledvina, attending UW-Madison majoring in Kinesiology.
