Kawhi Leonard is returning to the Toronto Raptors, the team he led to an NBA championship in 2019. The Raptors have made a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers to bring Leonard back to Toronto.

Details of the Deal

The Raptors are sending Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, two first-round draft picks, two second-round picks, and a pick swap to the Clippers in exchange for Leonard. This move is the latest in a series of significant trades this summer, including Giannis Antetokounmpo being traded to Miami and Ja Morant being moved to Portland.

Leonard, a seven-time All-Star and seven-time All-NBA selection, is coming off the highest-scoring season of his career, averaging 27.9 points for the Clippers in 65 games. The Raptors are hoping that Leonard can lead them to another championship title.
