Katy and Fulshear Summer Events

The cities of Katy and Fulshear are hosting several events this summer, providing opportunities for residents to come together and enjoy local entertainment. One such event is the stand-up comedy performance at Midway BBQ, featuring local Houston comedians, on June 20 from 7-9 p.m. for $15 per ticket.

Juneteenth Celebrations

The Southland Bar & Grill will host a Juneteenth event on June 20 from 4-9 p.m., with free general admission, to commemorate American history through music, food, and fun activities. Additionally, the Katy Texas African American Heritage Society will celebrate with live music, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and local vendors on June 20 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., also with free admission.

The city of Katy will provide frozen treats and outdoor games every Friday in July at various venues across the city. Furthermore, Fulshear High School will host a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary on July 3 from 7-10 p.m., featuring fireworks, food trucks, games, live music, and a drone show, all with free admission.

Patriotic Events

Typhoon Texas Waterpark will have a patriotic-filled day on July 4, starting at 11 a.m., with special activities and fireworks, although ticket prices vary. The third annual symposium for women will take place on July 16 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., focusing on meaningful dialogue on several topics, including business, family, and mental well-being, for $48 per ticket.
