In Jonesboro, Arkansas, a police officer faced an unexpected challenge after successfully arresting a suspect who fled a traffic stop. The incident occurred on Sunday morning when Officer Zach Hobbs attempted to stop a vehicle on South Culberhouse. The driver, identified as Jerry Cornealious Brown, accelerated away, violating multiple traffic laws, including running a stop sign.

After tracing the vehicle to a gravel parking lot behind an apartment on Nisbett Street, officers identified Brown, who was seen fleeing the area. He was apprehended shortly thereafter, complying with verbal commands from the officers. Brown faces several charges, including fleeing, possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, failure to appear, an out-of-town warrant, and reckless driving.

Following Brown’s arrest, officers conducted an article search in the vicinity. During this search, K-9 Rocky, handled by Officer Hobbs, scaled a fence.
