Joe’s KC Bar-B-Que, an iconic Kansas City restaurant, will be closed on Sundays again, following a brief World Cup-inspired experiment operating seven days a week.

The restaurant announced on social media that it would return to its accustomed six-day-a-week schedule due to the significant strain on staff from opening on Sundays during the World Cup.
Joe’s has three locations, including its original restaurant in Kansas City, Kansas, and two other restaurants in Leawood and Olathe.
