The Louisville Palace has announced a special 40th anniversary event for the classic coming-of-age film Stand by Me. On November 13, the theater will host a screening of the 1986 film, followed by a live conversation with cast members Corey Feldman, Jerry O’Connell, and Wil Wheaton.
Event Details
The actors are expected to share behind-the-scenes stories, memories from filming the movie, and reflections on the film’s lasting impact. They will also share memories of their late co-star, River Phoenix, whose performance in the film remains one of the most memorable of his career.
For fans who want more than just nostalgia, there’s a chance to upgrade the experience. A limited number of VIP packages will include options like an autographed poster, a post-show photo with the cast, or both. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online or through the Louisville Palace box office.
