Podcaster Joe Rogan warned liberals that moving to Texas and turning the state blue would ruin the delicate balance for everybody, including liberal Texans. Rogan, a former Californian, has spoken out numerous times about his choice to leave California over its far-left policies.
Delicate Balance
Rogan lamented that many “coastal elites” and “coastal snobs” often have this idea of Texas being filled with rednecks and ignorant people. However, he noted that Austin is one of the most liberal, easygoing, and progressive cities, but even the progressives there are more reasonable than those in Los Angeles or New York.
Rogan warned against liberals fleeing blue states only to vote for the same left-wing policies, comparing the state’s delicate political balance to that of an ecosystem. He emphasized the importance of balance, stating that “you can’t kill all the predators because then the deer get overrun, and you’re hitting them with cars.”
Texas is seeing billions of dollars in taxpayer wealth flowing into the state, with its largest metropolitan areas continuing to outpace much of the country in population growth. Dallas-Fort Worth added more residents than any metropolitan area in the country over the past year, while Houston, Austin, and San Antonio also ranked among the nation’s fastest-growing metros.
