Jersey Mike’s has taken the top spot in the American Customer Satisfaction Index, ending Chick-fil-A’s 11-year reign as the top-rated quick-service restaurant. The New Jersey-based sub chain earned high marks for freshness, food variety, and value, scoring an 84 out of 100.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index is based on thousands of customer surveys and rates various chains based on their performance. Jersey Mike’s added 238 net new locations in 2025 and reached $4.2 billion in systemwide sales, maintaining quality while scaling rapidly.
Chick-fil-A held the crown for 11 consecutive years and still holds the second-place spot with a score of 83. Other top-rated chains include KFC, Raising Cane’s, and Popeyes in the chicken category, and Culver’s and Burger King in the burger category.
The ACSI Restaurant and Food Delivery Study 2026 is based on 16,464 completed surveys, with customers chosen at random and contacted via email between April 2025 and March 2026. The study found that customers are placing greater emphasis on consistency, reliability, and perceived value as opposed to just price.
