Jeremy Clarkson, the former host of ‘Top Gear’ and current host of ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, has announced that he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
Clarkson, 66, revealed the diagnosis during an episode of ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, a series that follows his efforts to run a farm in England. He told his co-hosts, Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper, ‘I’ve got cancer. It’s aggressive but it’s really early.’
Clarkson had previously undergone a serious heart procedure in October 2024 after suffering a ‘sudden deterioration’ in his health. He wrote about the experience in his Sunday Times column, describing a trip to the hospital where he had an operation to maintain the flow of blood to his heart.
Amazon Prime Video has not made any formal announcement about whether there will be a sixth series of ‘Clarkson’s Farm’. The final two episodes of the current series, which dropped recently, are described by Clarkson as ‘difficult’ and ‘really, really difficult’ to watch.
