At 75 years old, Jane Seymour still feels young at heart, and she has some simple tips for others who want to live a healthy, balanced life. The actress, who shows no signs of slowing down in her 70s, recently stopped by Studio 1A to chat about Season 5 of her series with Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones.
Living Her Best Life
Seymour told the TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle co-hosts that she never imagined her life would be so vibrant at 75 years old. “I think I’m a teenager. I’ve never been happier. I’ve never had more energy. And I’m just living my best life right now,” she said. Seymour credits her happiness to doing what she loves and having a purpose in life, including her work with her Open Hearts Foundation.
When it comes to her lifestyle choices, Seymour said she doesn’t diet and instead eats a Mediterranean-type diet. She also exercises when she can and takes care of her scalp, skin, and hair. Seymour also emphasized the importance of mental health in aging gracefully, saying that having a purpose in life and doing things to help others can make a big difference.
