The Jackson Police Department is showcasing its Independence Day spirit with a brand-new police cruiser. The 2026 Dodge Durango features a special stars-and-stripes version of the JPD decal and is rigged to play ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’.

The vehicle will make a grand entrance on Saturday, leading off the downtown Fourth of July parade. The car was acquired by the force this week and had only 27 miles on it by Thursday morning.
