Since the opening game, the Raiders have seen a surge in participation. “We had some Saturdays where we had about eight or nine kids for a while during Saturday morning workouts,” Mattingly explained. “Then after the dead period, the numbers started to pick up a little bit for us.” The roster now stands at roughly 40 players, a significant increase for the program.
